Seen him in Sioux City late 70's didn't know much about him went to see the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Well we walked in on one of his jams and we're stunned he was amazing one of the best shows I've seen. This band is super tight and he has not lost anything right on the money.

Saw Dave at this same theatre March 2024, one month ago, STILL just as great ! The man's voice remains the same strong baritone as well as guitar viturouso...fantastic show !! Also have loved his music since the '70s. He is in a class of his own. Thank you for sharing this, Rich -- phenomenal show and performances by you & all of the band !

terrific performance...it is amazing to me that despite the years, Dave's voice and control is so perfect t. He is one of my favorite all time musician and songwriters. His inability to fully integrate into Traffic is actually a blessing-otherwise we wouldn';t have his impressive body of work. I do love Steve Winwood, but again, they are different and I can live with that...

I'm guessing this was live in the mid 80's, when the beautiful Natalie and host Gary....were in their 30s, the prime of their lives. Oh, and you, Rich, of course. And I'll never forget both Natalie and Gary, who sadly passed away after a long illness.

I remember being 10 years old in 1988 when hit songs like Jump Start, I live for your love and Pink Cadillac were blasting on radio and mtv. I then learned she's Nat King Cole's daughter and thought Everlasting was her debut album because she looked so young, fresh, healthy and energetic. I was later surprised to know she had been a big name in the music industry since 1975.

OMG, this concert was absolute fire. Dave's voice is as powerful and soulful as ever, and I think his guitar skills as a soloist have improved since I first heard him. And his backing band is as good as it can get, solid all the way around. I always wondered why we never really heard Dave's guitar skills in Traffic. Was Winwood too dominating?

Stephan is still so handsome.

Okay Dave Mason fans: Could you please clear up a point of confusion? Mason is a credited guitarist on Delaney Bonnie & Friends *On Tour With Eric Clapton* album recorded 12/7/69: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Tour_with_Eric_Clapton And yet, he is absent from the show three days later. See the video here (he's in no footage), and particularly Delaney's band introduction at 35:10 (he's not mentioned): ruclips.net/video/y4DbsNsK3jY/видео.html To my thinking, Mason either bowed out of the December 10 show to accommodate George Harrison (i.e. Harrison effectively replaced him for the show), or Mason was in fact not part of the tour and, as such should not be credited on the album. Can anyone clear up this mystery? Thanks.

Just recently got a work a TDN show. Amazing vocals and great musician. I've been working concerts for 51yrs. Not really into pics, selfies or autographs but, I got into my collection of stage passes and my work resume. Between 1976-1978, I got to work with quite a few groups. TDN just happen to be 1 of the groups. I took my resume back to the show and asked them if they would autograph my resume. 1st things they did was under line 3 dog nite😅. They thought it was kool and had a blast signing it for me. Thanks guys I remember listening to your music in high school, then working for you in the 70's and 50 yrs later getting yours autograph.....life really does go full circle. Eventually if you wait ling enough lol....

A trifecta of voices like no other. They headlined the first rock show I ever attended, and rocked Cobo Arena to its foundation. In the 90's I saw them again, with America opening the show, also down to just two members. Still great, but missing that third party in both bands WAS a big disappointment. Danny should just call the band "One Dog Night", & be truthful about it.

If you have to set at a traffic jam you want Dave in the middle of it

Perfectly horrible song. I have always heard it split the band. Now I have an understanding why. I can't believe it's a Dave Mason song.

I've been a Dave Mason fan since entering college in 1974. Some kid from Delaware turned me on to Dave. "Headkeeper" is still on my everyday playlist. Rich, awesome bass playing, keeping the bottom tight while playing some fantastic melodic licks to counter Dave's guitar. Thanks for the upload. Rock on! Dave was spot on... R&R is an attitude, not an age.
